Feeding Guidelines for Racehorses - HISA ADMC Compliance

Why are KER feeding directions different for racehorses?

Regulations for specific substances vary by racing jurisdiction. We recommend that all trainers and managers adhere to the regulations set forth by the specific jurisdiction prior to using any feed additives or supplements in the lead-up to racing.

For individuals managing racehorses operating under HISA ADMC Rules, regulations require a 48-hour withdrawal from all supplements, with an exception for vitamins administered orally (e.g., Nano-E), which are allowed a 24-hour prerace withdrawal.

All KER products are compliant with labeling regulations for equine nutritional supplements and are free from banned substances as defined by HISA Rule 4000 Series (Prohibited Substance List).
